The name of the rose
Umberto Eco: The Name of the Rose. You are a
mystery novel dealing with theology, especially
with catholic vs liberal issues. You search
wisdom and knowledge endlessly, feeling that
learning is essential in life.

I seem to recall Florence King ripping this book like an old rotten bedsheet, but I could be wrong. On a related topic, why aren't there ever any SF novels on these lists? Okay, there was 1984...

Gacked from Cobb.

Okay, so I had to read The Name of the Rose, and it wasn't so BAD, but it wasn't all that good.

I think the person who made this list is definitely not as well read as he/she thinks he is.

Some awful choices.

Yes. A lot of these quizzes remind me of a sigblock I saw on rec.arts.anime.miscellaneous: "As for Usenet, it's the equivalent of having the million monkeys with their typewriters, and it's nothing like Shakespeare."
