Homework called on account of disinterest

wombat_sochoI suppose I should be getting my head back into Serious Mode by finishing my reading for tomorrow night's class, but honestly, I'm having a hard time giving a shit. So I think I'll just grab the TX and catalog some more books until my hands get tired.
Part of what trashed my mood was going to the laundromat. I needed to do laundry, but on this occasion the convenience of having the $3 Bulk Washer and all the big tumble dryers was almost totally occluded by the misery of having to listen to 102.9 WLTE-FM and its sappily romantic Delilah program. OMFG, was I not in the mood for that show. Normally I can just tune it out, but on this occasion I'd compounded the problem by reading John Barnes' A Princess of the Aerie, which is a savage mindfuck all by itself, and well, it was just a really depressing way to be spending one's birthday. (Ja, I am emo, hear me whine.)
So...I have a couple of e-mails to fire off, and then I think I'll buckle down to the cataloging. So far the vast majority of the collection is SF in paperback. What a surprise, eh?
