Nice Fisking of an obnoxious Star-Tribune editorial attempting to justify the DFL-controlled state Senate's bitter-end refusal to confirm Lieutenant Governor Carol Molnau as Transportation Commissioner and Cheri Yecke as Education Commissioner. This kind of editorial is one of the reasons I stopped taking the Star-Tribune and instead drove five miles into the capital city for the Pioneer Press. The PP may not have been noticeably more conservative, but the average brainpower in the editorial staff was usually greater.
