wombat_sochoWell, that weigh-in went really badly. I tacked on 3.8 pounds last week in spite of lugging a futon and bags of garbage and dead air mattresses, cleaning furiously...well, on the other hand, I did eat a lot more than I really should have on a couple of days, so obviously there wasn't nearly enough activity to make up for all that eating. This week will be better. More walking, less eating.
The meeting to discuss the annual Voice of the Team survey was, as I expected, a near-complete waste of time. I noitce this year they didn't make the numbers for the company or the department available on the intranet, which leads me to believe things were pretty sucky. Big surprise there - nothing's really changed from last year, except that a lot of people have left the department for greener (or at least less crappy) pastures. I guess that's one way to cure the morale problems - wait for turnover to weed out the malcontents.
It looks like I'll be spending the rest of the day revising procedures, or making it look like I'm revising procedures.
