Slumber like Houdini's dog

Today was a day of appalling slowness at work, and I wound up doing a fair amount of writing. Add in what I did after I got home and ate hot dogs with my ramen, and it all adds up to a little over two thousand words. Some of that was edits to existing sections, but that's okay.

I'm also making progress on cleaning out dead boxes and recyclables; got rid of three boxes this morning on my way out the door to work. At the moment, though, I'm feeling tired and sleepy. I think I'll take my medicine and retire early. Halfway through the week, huzzah.
