I didn't feel like doing a whole lot last night after I got home besides waiting for [livejournal.com profile] redmartel to show up so I could hand off the mail and shoot the shit about various things, which is what happened. After he left, I slapped together a couple of sandwiches, played a little Civicrack, and went to bed.The games will go up on eBay tonight, assuming that I don't waste time going over to the GOP election HQ at the Sheraton. While it would be kind of fun, it seems a bit pointless since so many of the races elsewhere are too close to call and may well be challenged by the lawyers if they don't come out the way the Democrats think they ought to.

We'll see how I feel after I get my shoulders worked on tonight after work. I may just decide to go home and go to bed early, since I got my voting out of the way first thing. In case you're wondering, of course I voted Republican. As the Iron Lady said, this is no time to go wobbly.

No wonder Her Majesty's reign has been so long: Reuters claims she has ten times the lifespan of workers and lays 10,000 eggs per day. It's a wonder she has three hours spare to go through her boxes. In other news, Reuters and Quaker Maid Meats bring us new frontiers in edible undies. Probably not so great unless you're one of those folks into steak tartare. (h/t Rachel)

While we're on the subject of food, despite experiencing repeated gustatory satisfaction with the McRib last week, I still managed to drop a pound, which brings me down to 418.4. Imagine what I could achieve if I were actually showing a little bit of discipline.

Well, that took longer than it probably should have. I got six of the games I'm selling up on eBay tonight, finding some surprises along the way - didn't realize that I'd piled both my copies of Air War into one box and put a bunch of other games in the second one. I'll have to photocopy the rules and charts for the one I'm selling, since it appears to be just the counters, maps and displays. Oh, well.

One of the fringe benefits of the work was finding the pictures of [livejournal.com profile] qob's "Getting A Head In The Klingon Empire" panel which I thought I'd lost. I'll have to burn those to a CD for him.

I may spend some of the next few nights going through the smaller games and seeing if I have any duplicates; ISTR that I have an extra copy of Conquistador. Or maybe it's The Crusades. Too tired to remember right now.
