I think I can just about make it to the 6:30 vespers at St. Constantine. The notion of going to St. Olaf and enduring contemporary liturgical music in my present sick, irritable state makes my face hurt and my teeth ache, and I'm not even smiling.

EDIT: Slight change to clarify matters...while I might find a Mass composed by Judas Priest, Dethklok, Armored Saint or Metallica amusing and entertaining, the hideous folk music perpetrated at these Masses is almost as bad as clown masses and liturgical dance in my book.

Next time P offers advice on what I should do when I'm sick, I'm going to listen. Not doing so last night wasted two hours of my time that I could have spent productively jewing it up on my home turf or (better yet) sleeping while the Keflex laid the smackdown on this most recent cellulitis outbreak.

All that having been said, I'm still going to shell out a few bucks for he 90-day timecard. As you can tell from my other posts, it's mostly been a good time.

I want those two hours of my life back, you fuckers.

Next time P offers advice on what I should do when I'm sick, I'm going to listen. That figures. I missed the late deadline for April Praxis testing by one day. The next test session is in June and the one after that in August. This wouldn't be so bad except all the tests I want to take are in Session I, so I can't take more than one in a day, and I don't know where I'm going to be in August so I can't sign up for a test then. Not that it would have helped if 'd paid closer attention to the testing schedule, really - ah, who am I kidding? I would have checked out of the T-bird on Sunday, taken all my crap home, and not been so generous that week so I could have covered the cost of taking at least one of the subject exams this month.

Nothing to do but cowboy up and wait to see what happens. At least I've saved myself $75 in test fees, though it may be a savings I'll regret later.In the meantime, I think I'm going to skip vespers at St. Constantine's and just go home to crash. This afternoon has been painful and unpleasant, and I want it to be over.
