Leg is still swollen and warm to the touch but the redness has subsided and it doesn't hurt nearly as much as it did yesterday, so I guess it's on the way out.

Stayed up until almost midnight rereading Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix and Charles Stross' Singularity Sky, which gave rise to some very strange dreams, no doubt exacerbated by falling asleep to the techno/dance "Simply Butter" program on KFAI. Slept well, but not long...woke at 6:30 to the alarm which I had set for some reason and then again at 7:30 once I remembered why I set the alarm: I had minerals to haul to KZF for sale, and an early-morning run down the pipe has proven the best way to avoid enemy ganksquads. So it was this morning, and I cashed in bigtime.

I need to go out to the grocery store and get foodz; the place is pretty well emptied of lunch-type food and things easily prepared except for hot dogs, and I think it says volumes about how messed up I am that I can't really stand to be up for the relatively short length of time it takes to boil a couple of hot dogs.

I don't know about it being "a...pop metaphor for the Resurrection", but it sure beats this annoying Zombie Jesus crap. Check out the Nicholas Brothers.

Wikipedia article here - it's a pity Michael and Janet didn't follow more closely in their teachers' path, although I agree with Gregory Hines that nobody alive today could dance like this.

(Relapsed Catholic)

EDIT: Oddly, the YouTube page with that scene from Stormy Weather also had a scene from District B13 in it.

AWESOME.

So I went out to get some fixings for this week's lunches, only to find that the Cub was closed. I don't know why that surprised me; I should have expected it after seeing the signs up at Wal-Mart advising customers that they'd be closing early on Easter Saturday and staying closed until Easter Monday. Nobody in their right mind would have expected Cub to be open if Wal-Mart was closed, but then I have been feverish these last few days.

Which probably explains why there's a Badger parked in my hangar...the space freighter that gets bigger and faster the better you are at piloting it. WTF. I'm not sure why I bought the damn thing to carry all my new blueprints and a slightly used mining frigate* home from Minmatar space either, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. Will probably get stashed at JLO or the Epsipost in Q4C to assist with ninja mining escapades.

*Did I mention the smartbombs? I bought some smartbombs because they looked cool and could be resold for mad bags of cash to battleship and dreadnaught pilots looking to snuff some annoying fighters.
