That was the year that was
Dec. 31st, 2007 10:39 pmSomething a little more in-depth tomorrow, I think; for now, it'll suffice to say that not everything in my personal Drang Nach Osten went the way I would have liked, but things are coming together what with the new job and (soon!) the new apartment. Haven't been able to spend as much time with my friends as I might have liked either, but a lot of that has been due to the shortage of money and the inability to plan more than a couple days ahead, and both of those are fixed now. Sort of. Kind of.
It also occurs to me that this is the first time in...um, four years? Three? that I haven't spent New Year's Eve with my AD peeps at the Thunderbird. Hope it's a good party, and wish I was there, but it didn't work out this year.
I think I'll knock off early tonight and go to bed at a somewhat normal hour. January 2, 2008 is going to be a long hard day; we have a lot of people to write checks to, and a lot of invoices to stuff in the system before we do. So it behooves me to get plenty of rest tonight and tomorrow night. Happy New Year, y'all.
