The assignment at the doctor's office ended today, and I've made my calls to the NoVa Accountemps offices letting them know I'm available for work tomorrow. Something will turn up. In the meantime, I need to get money together to maintain my Kaiser coverage. It'll cost me $255/month to continue coverage through PCM under COBRA, and after talking to Membership Services today, I'd be a fool not to. The HR lady at PCM also clarified the PTO situation: all gone when I left. Oh well. I was hoping I'd get paid for it in lieu of severance.

I think I'm going to find a good book and spend the evening horizontal. It'll be good for my leg, which needs to spend more time elevated and less time vertical.
