unimpressive tropical storm itp

It's been raining pretty steadily since I got up around 1300, but I haven't seen any arks floating by and the power is still on, so I'm not too worried.
Going to head over to Wal-mart for some bandages*, since they were out on Thursday, and probably spend the evening doing laundry. Or something.
Most of my vile, treacherous friends are tied up doing family stuff, so I expect I'll probably be hanging out at home finishing Tim Powers' Three Days 'Til Never, which is shaping up to be another bravura performance of extreme weirdness.
