Where did Wednesday go?
Jun. 30th, 2022 01:51 pmWeight has been up and down ever since I got back from Dulles at the beginning of the month, but it looks like I'll end the month under 390, and that's almost ten pounds shy of the weight I was at on June 4 when I stepped onto the scale for the first time since leaving for the Not-Balticon Excursion. BP has been nice and low, and even with the reduced Novolin-R dosage my BG has mostly been normal.
My Amazon packages actually were on my doorstep for once, so I didn't have to go out, but I did anyway, since I wanted to make sure I wasn't hallucinating about the Love's Travel Stop (I wasn't)* and I also wanted to get me some BOGO Whopper goodness from the BK. Which I did, although all the carbs from the onion rings and buns made me z out very early. Like, before 2000. I slept until 0100, was up for a couple of hours looking at Twitter and my inbox, and then went back to sleep until a little before 0900.
Instead of going to the post office, I knocked out a couple of Blackwasp's portals to drop his links & fields, reinforced some existing portals, and made use of the drone to hack portals and get more gear. I have way too many resos and not nearly enough blasters.
So I'll catch up on the blogging today, run the dishwasher, and do some other household maintenance stuff, I think.
*The guy I talked to on the construction crew said he thought it would be opening in November. It's actually just over the county line in Esmeralda County, on the NE corner of 6/95 and Radar Road.
