Friday the wombat paid bills
Jul. 1st, 2022 11:30 pmMy weight this morning was almost ten pounds down from what it was when I came back from DC. BG was nominal and BP was good.
Both the Social Security and VA disability checks dropped today, so I spent the morning after breakfast paying various bills, stashing money in the CCCU savings account, and picking up another I bond. The only discretionary spending I did was buying a new hat from Gab. Well, there was the grocery shopping - I bought over $100 worth of meats, beans, fruit, fresh veggies, and other things that were (mostly) on sale, and after all the sales & online coupons from the Something Extra program I only spent about $67. Meant to go out around 1500 to do this but I got delayed by an excessively long email reply to Kyle, so instead I hung around until it was time for me to play the Giants -lost all three games and only the first one was close - and then I went to Raley's. For some reason the shopping list looked a lot smaller on the phone, but I managed to lug all the bags up the stairs, scan them in, and then pitch into the daily blogging.
