Got my stuff from the post office Saturday after eating way too much at El Marques Friday; the aguas frescas are interesting, and the one I thought I would like the least (the cucumber limeade) was actually pretty good. Sunday I managed to get out and do laundry after a brief stop at Raley's for tea, mayo, oleo, and a loaf of bread because I (erroneously) thought I was out.
Today I stayed in - bagged up some garbage from around the desk, sorted the clean laundry, and that was pretty much it. Called the town trash service to ask if they could help me with all these damn boxes; they didn't sound optimistic. As for the person who was advertising cleaning services, their phone doesn't work. Maybe I shouldn't have put this off until the week they're coming around to inspect, but I did, and now I have to deal with it. In the meantime, I'll clean up the kitchen some more, clean out the tub, and see if I can move some of the empty boxes in the living room to the pile in the kitchen.
Today is also notable because for the first time in many days I have risen before 0900 and made it into the evening without needing a nap. I can't help wondering if I had some kind of cold or low-level infection, or I was just cramming too many carbs into my mouth.
