(Monday)

I got up and showered and changed bandages this morning. The left leg didn't look much better, but the right leg looked very much improved, and I am hoping it stays that way even though I am not using the Kerlix and Tubigrip while I'm up here. Spent some time on the phone with a person in the Esmeralda County assessor's office, who didn't know the answers to a lot of the questions I had relating to Coaldale and brothels, so I guess after tax season I'll have to go down to Goldfield and root around in the county ordinances, since those aren't online. I'll also call the AG's office up here to see just what sort of hoops one has to jump through at the state level.

Lunch today was at the Sonic, which this week introduced pulled pork sandwiches and burgers. I had the sandwich and it was okay. For dinner, I walked next door to the Gold Ranch and had a double burger with pepper jack and bacon, potato salad on the side, and o-rings ditto. If it wasn't the best burger in Dayton, it's a strong contender. 

Work was okay. My calendar was full, none of the returns were weird or arcane, and I only had one COD. Tomorrow the calendar will be much emptier, but I pulled down a fulfillment return from Missouri to hack on. 

Afterward, I headed over to the Raley's on the south side of Carson City to pick up fluids (and some Bad Things with milk to wash them down), found the local Peg's, and headed back to the hotel to do the daily blogging. 

And so to bed.
