Mar. 12th, 2024 10:36 pmThe podiatry appointment that I missed before Confinement was rescheduled to Thursday, so it's time to tank up the Kia and head downhill again. At least it'll be warm down there.
Got several returns done this week and warned some of my WIPs that prices were going up Thursday. We'll see if that actually gets some of them to cash out.
Today's day of pizza and post office yielded a refill of Glargine, a new Gab hat (in black instead of camo but that's okay), some useless 4x4 sterile pads, steroid creams, and a couple of letters from the VA about nothing much. Speaking of the VA, I left more messages with Accounting and got hold of the Patient Advocate, who I told about my mounting frustration over travel pay (or the lack thereof). So I guess they'll look into it, and I'll file new reimbursement requests for my last two trips when I get down there on Thursday.
Finally found a cleaner who actually showed up, and in about an hour she cleared out all the boxes from the kitchen, swept the remaining trash into the corner, and committed to cleaning the rest of the kitchen Friday.
