wombat_sochoWeight has been going up and down this weekend but has stayed under 390. Debating whether to go out and get some groceries today, since it's in the high 70s/low 80s right now and there are some attractive sales, but on the other hand I have about $10 in each of my checking accounts and another week to go before disability checks drop, so...idk.
UPS managed to lose the cereal and oil I ordered from Amazon. Tracking shows that it arrived in Las Vegas last Tuesday, and then...nothing. So I reordered it; the phone is being wonky and not allowing me to place or receive calls via wifi, so I can't even call Amazon or UPS to complain about it. Aggravating.
At least things are going well in Hearts of Iron. I'm on the second (civilian) level of difficulty and am pushing back the Japanese; Mengkukuo has already surrendered, my submarines are ravaging the Japanese convoys, and I may be able to knock Manchukuo out of the war this coming year. I am slowly but surely building up my industrial base, the army is decently sized and I am using my field marshals as they should be used. After the Manchus bend the knee and Korea is sealed off, I'll start going after the warlords.
This week I'll pitch into the CE again for sure, probably tonight or Wednesday.
