The call with Doc B went okay; she's happy with the blood sugar and blood pressure, so we cut back the Novolin R to 10/15/35 and the amlodipine to half a tablet a day. She agreed that I ought to touch base with Dr. K about the NASH.
Much to my surprise, Capital One came through with the Savor card, which I promptly got the virtual card for and hooked it up to the BK app, where I ordered entirely too much lunch. Picked it up after deciding to skip the bank because there was nowhere to park, did a little Ingress, went home to poop, and then went down to the bank and deposited most of the Synovus payment into my checking account. Had to do it via the ATM because it wouldn't allow a cash advance, so after fees I still have about $11 on the card. Tried to get the necessary numbers for the N3F account but only got the account number, which I already had. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough in explaining what I wanted.
That having been done, I went back home and took a nap until it was time for baseball. Beat the Expos two games out of three, which meant I was .500 for the week after losing two out of three to the A's on Monday. Did the second blog post of the day to get fully caught up.
Saturday: weight went up just a little bit, BG and BP were normal. Had flax muffin and coffee for breakfast, nuked some potatoes so that I could more easily shred them for dinner, and wasted the afternoon playing Civicrack after quitting the 4th boreal game since I had a healthy lead going into the 400th turn. Today's iteration isn't going so well, but I'm not dead yet. Did the FMJRA more or less on time, repaid Stacy through PayPal with the Savor card, and pledged money to the Monty Python not-an-RPG. Worth it for the spam alone.
Fixed breakfast for dinner and threw the devil's food cake in the robot. It came out excessively moist, but on the other hand the potatoes fried up right well, the sausage was done well in the grill, and I threw in some onions and cheese with the eggs & taters. Managed to resist the temptation to abuse the Savor card further at Walmart or Sam's Club.
