A wretched weekend

wombat_sochoFor various reasons, I didn't sleep well this weekend and was generally out of sorts. I did go forth to Family Dollar on Saturday and bought a couple more plastic bins, some soup, and some hooks on which to hang my headphones and other things. About all I got done was several abortive games of Civicrack, and the laundry on Sunday. Saw some of "Cast Away" in the bar while waiting for my clothes to dry.
Yesterday it snowed, so I didn't go out; today, it snowed again but it died down to flurries by the afternoon, so I went out and collected the mail, most of which was junk, but there was one check for Son of Silvercon. I also agreed to take on Caitlin Walsh as Chief Artist and fellow shill for the convention;; she has admonished me to be more positive about the convention, and I explained to her why I seem to be diffident about it.
Also in the mail was the copy of S.I. Hayakawa's Language In Thought & Action, which is interesting and not at all dry. Perhaps it will help me straighten out my head, or get it to a better place, at least.
Also also I went to Raley's for more tea, a couple of small plastic cubes for the desk, eggs, English muffins, and doughnuts, which I originally wasn't going to get but the flesh was weak.
Actually did three fulfillment returns today; started a fourth but the docs wouldn't download, so I'll try again tomorrow.
