Tedium and annoyance

The drive into Las Vegas was as uneventful as it usually is. I stopped in Beatty at the Arco and put $20 in the Kia, got some fluids and munchies for myself, and rolled on until I got to the Stratosphere. Since I got my new driver's license in the mail, I was able to use the robot to check in, and it gave me a room on the 14th floor not too far from the Central elevators, although the robot suggested I use the North tower instead, Got unpacked, set up the nose hose, rested a bit, and then went off to the CFA for some hate chikuns (some of them free) before heading over to the Walmart at Charleston and Decatur for cream, yogurt, and caramel pecan buns from the clearance rack.
The Low-Level (Radioactive) Waste meeting was 2/3 useful information and 1/3 tedious, repetitive stuff about truck permits, prolonged by one of the virtual attendees not reading the provided materials and asking stupid questions. Got out on schedule at 1500, went over to the laundromat at Charleston & 15th and was greatly annoyed to find that you couldn't just feed quarters to the washers and dryers, you had to buy a card. So I invested about $8 in that, got my stuff done at twice what it would have cost me in Tonopah, and then went next door to the Albertson's for chicken salad from the deli, a couple of rolls, and some Diet Coke. These I took back to the Stratosphere and ate for dinner.
Today I have lunch with Dan, followed by a quick visit to the Plaza's sales office so I can find out WTF is going on with our contract, and then back to the Stratosphere for a little rest and maybe blogging before the 1600 NSSAB meeting.
I'm downloading Genshin Impact, which I'll probably regret later...for that matter, I'm regretting it now because the files are HUEG LIKE XBOX.
