wombat_sochoIt was bitterly cold last night, and I slept in for an extra two hours because I didn't want to deal with the cold. Got dressed, changed the ABD pads, had breakfast, and headed out to the post office by way of the BK, where I got a Big Fish combo. It was fishy. Picked up the electric kettle and new HP keyboard from the post office along with some Novolin R.
Cleaning lady finished with the trash in the kitchen and has moved on to clearing the counter. I sent her home after 1.5 hours with $30 and the air fryer, because I was tired of looking at it and she reckoned she or her boyfriend could fix the handle. While she was working, John came in with a replacement space heater for the one under the desk that had stopped working. So now the kitchen is actually warm, and I could take off my smoking jacket.
Was supposed to open the 1972 season against Dom's Royals, but I guess he was busy tonight, so we'll play tomorrow.
