No PIN number in the mail today either. I guess I'll find out tomorrow whether it actually got mailed or somebody dropped the ball at HR. This is, of course, assuming that I can actually get a replacement phone tomorrow, which depends entirely on what my last paycheck is going to look like.

Movers will be here between 7 and 8 AM tomorrow. I'm going to grab a sandwich, do dishes, and pack the kitchen stuff. Then I think I'll clear the desk and pack up the computer; from now until I get settled in wherever, it'll be laptop time.

UPDATE: As if I wasn't having enough fun already, the super came up to remind me that I need to have the rent for this month to him tomorrow morning or they're going to file an Unlawful Detainer order on me. WTF? I'M MOVING OUT TOMORROW YOU SPHINCTERS! JESUS X. CHRIST!

I wouldn't if I were the super. This is just business. My apartment complex would have started unlawful detainer proceedings on the 7th if I didn't pay my rent by COB on the 5th.

Likewise, last October when I filed a tenant's assertion (heh, nothing like a lawsuit to light a fire under their asses and get my refrigerator fixed). I said to the property manager "nothing personal, you'd evict me if I didn't pay my rent, this is pretty much the same thing..."

I think technically Kevin probably owes for August. Will be interesting to see if the collections agents are on his case for this later. Might not be worth it to try to collect for a partial month.

I agree that I owe for August, and fully intend to pay them. I just don't have the money right now. Next week, sure.

I didn't see the super or anyone from management today, so I don't know what's going on with them. Unsurprisingly, my last paycheck from the EBN wasn't enough for me to cover rent, so they'll have to wait for my 401k distribution to show up if they want that August rent.
