Nose to the grindstone, finally

wombat_sochoGetting packed up for work took a little longer than I thought it would this morning, mainly because I had a couple of additional bags' worth of stuff I'd brought in at various points over the last week. This meant I was a couple of minutes late to work, but my boss was okay with that.
Actually got some work done, although it took a couple of hours for IT to get my profile squared a way so I could log in and do that work. Once that was done I spent the rest of the afternoon opening envelopes, getting checks entered into the system, and doing the necessary cross-checking & reconciling to make sure stuff was done right. It's not terribly difficult, but it promises to keep me busier than I was at the Evil Banking Neighbor, and that's good.
