Woke up this morning feeling like crap, with something itchy in the back of my throat and a distinct feeling of mucus in the sinuses. Again.
So I called in sick, rolled over and went back to sleep until 1000. My podiatry appointment is at 3:45, so I have time to lie around a bit and try to get better before having the wound care specialist (it's the same guy as the podiatrist) take a gander at my leg. For now, tea and chicken soup to comfort my poor throat & nasal passages.

Leave it to the Onion to discover the basic truth about this year's elections. (Cobb)
