Weight was up slightly, BG was nominal, BP was okay. Since I was pressed for time (having slept later than I originally intended) before my OLA shift started, I just had coffee and a slice of Irish cake for breakfast, but that was enough to get me through the shift.
Called Social Security, hoping they would explain the letter that didn't really explain why I got that extra payment, and apparently the deal is that this is the result of the work review they started last fall. The agent I talked to was horrified at the notion of my dropping SSDI in favor of regular Social Security, but I'd much rather get paid less from SSA and be able to continue working at H&R Block without having to worry about whether I'm at the end of the 24/36-month period I'm allowed to work in. Think I'll get a second opinion from the VA social worker after looking at the projected income on the SSA website, which is down at the moment.
Managed to get both link posts up today, so tomorrow I can concentrate on drop-offs, laundry, and hauling out the garbage again. I've been slacking off on that and really need to keep at it. So many bags and boxes need to be yeeted into the trash.
Went over to Raley's because I thought I was running out of Arizona Diet Green Tea (I wasn't) but also because I wanted to take advantage of the FAGE and Chobani yogurt sale. Came home with those, some bricks of extra sharp cheese that was also on sale, a kielbasa, a half-gallon of buttermilk (for Irish cake & soda bread) and that was enough to run the bill up to $36. They were suffering the same internet issues that ailed NSB yesterday, so I couldn't get any quarters for laundry, but there's always tomorrow.
Finished A Meeting In Corvallis today and decided not to plunge right into The Sunrise Lands, because that sucks you into the whole 9-10 volumes (I forget which) that cover the Cutter War. Instead, since the Eschaton novels from John Wright arrived, I am amusing myself with The Architect of Aeons.
