Friday the wombat stayed in
Mar. 25th, 2022 10:33 pmPut on a lot of weight yesterday apparently because I ate an entire box of Triscuits around 0400 (with a couple ounces of cheese); BP was also up and the BG was bad. It got better.
Spent about 2.5 hours on the phone with my boss going over various drop-offs that lacked essential info, only to find after a short bathroom break that none of the changes stuck. Argh. Still knocked out several other returns, or at least got them to the point where I can finish them once I get information from the clients such as where they want their money. Speaking of money, the Block paycheck dropped today, and I spent some of it on paying down Capital One and some more of it on a new poncho liner and several books for the Kindle, which should be here around April 1; today the Fire was being obtuse about opening/downloading books, which sucks.
After that I fixed some tuna salad for dinner before getting stuck into the daily blogging, but completely forgot that I was supposed to play the O's tonight. (It got rescheduled to tomorrow.) Pete finished the list of 1970 players, and since Open Office sucks, I opened the file in Google Docs, saved it in .CSV format and then converted it to Excel, in which it will be broken up by position and have information added that for some reason isn't in Pete's sheets. (Splits, mostly.) Took a break to sate my hunger with a peach smoothie, and I think I'll be getting back to playing Civicrack (am trying Russia, which I haven't before) and Azur Lane. The current event with the Sardegna ships is pretty easy, and I've already pulled the cruiser Trieste from the gacha. What I'd really like is the carrier and a couple more destroyers, but that's in the hands of the RNG.
I have an appointment to talk to a VA social worker at a disgusting hour on Monday morning (0900) but it is what it is.
