The Death March To April 18 Starts Friday

The District Manager wants me to saddle up and ride to the rescue again, and to be honest, I have mixed feelings about it. Unlike last time, I have a healthy bankroll, so I should be fairly comfortable for the fortnight-plus that I'll be up there. Going to pack the external hard drive and both trackballs this time. 

Blew about $20 on Civilization VI and so far I'm not too thrilled with it. The ruler portraits are super cartoony, the city-level fiddliness has reached Paradox HoI4 levels, and there's just a lot more stuff to keep track of. Also looks like they (once again) sacrificed gameplay for things that look pretty. 

Weather was cold and rainy today, not that I wanted or needed to go outside today anyway.
