I woke up at 0700 and still barely managed to make it to the training 10 minutes late, partially because I thought it was in the 17th floor offices and not the 15th floor conference room.
Carl's Jr, was apparently out of sausage so I settled for a steak/egg/cheese burrito; for lunch I downloaded the Jason's Deli app and had a chicken salad croissant, cukes w/tzatziki, and a cup of wild rice soup that actually tasted like it was made in Minnesota. The training was pretty good and covered some stuff not previously discussed, which is always good, plus we got a briefing book with all kinds of information.
It was over a little after 1500 so I went over to the Sonic on E. Sahara for Sprite Zero, broccoli tots, and a pretzel before I went back to the hotel.
I fought with the website for a while than gave up and went down to dinner at McCall's. It was as expensive as Oscar's but less flexible, but the food was well worth the money. After the prawns wrapped in bacon, the fully loaded baked potato, the steak and the wine, I decided it would be better not to attempt dessert. So I went back to my room, took drugs, and will wait up until 2300 to take my last BG reading and then the insulin.
