One day before the long ride home
Jun. 1st, 2023 08:54 pmSo I got up at 0700, got dressed, and headed up to the VA to get my toes and calluses tended to. Took a bit longer than the 30 minutes I was allocated, but it was pretty thorough. Nurse suggested I invest in a pumice stone, which I will do.
Stopped at Sonic on Craig for fluids and then at the new Dunkin on East Lake Mead for iced coffee, a stuffed croissant, and the obligatory cake doughnut before heading back to the Stratosphere, where I consumed fluids, napped, knocked out some bloggage, and in the middle of the afternoon went down to PT's for wings and nachos. I probably should have just had the wings because the nachos were not as good as I remembered. Tonight I am ordering in from the Olive Garden since I am too lazy to go out and get it.
I may be able to attract some Utahns who are unhappy with LTUE to our little convention, which would be Good. I'm also contemplating sinking some money into ads here and there, but that will have to wait until I get home and get my finances sorted. Also sent my feedback to Balticon. It would be nice if they compensated me somehow for the miserable time I had thanks to their asinine mask policy, but I don't expect them to.
