Playing catch-up
Nov. 1st, 2023 11:59 pmThe VA check came in today, and most of it went to patching the hole in the convention account. I picked up the packages from the post office -one from Amazon with some aguas frescas, Lance crackers, Vitamin D gelcaps, & Duke's mayo, and one from the VA with a 90-day supply of Ozempic. Then it was off to Raley's for the cream I forgot yesterday and a can of Bang energy drink, which was a disappointment, and then to Family Dollar for razor blades. Maybe I ought to follow Carlos' example and just get a straight razor.
I tried making some homemade alfredo with rotini, and after all that effort I think I'll be better off just buying alfredo sauce when it's on sale. It tasted okay, but the combination of TVP, provolone, and various other dairy products really didn't work well.
Did the daily blogging, made a video, and called it a night.

troika set up a Discord server for Son of Silvercon, and it was Good.
The Rangers beat the Snakes in the World Series, and I trolled some Rangers fans on Twitter by pointing out that if they'd taken an expansion team instead of the Senators, they would have gotten their championship a lot sooner.
