A very busy weekend ahead

wombat_sochoIn a few minutes I'll be leaving to get pizza and post office stuff, and then stopping by Raley's for tea and other essentials. While there's a lot of stuff on sale, money is tight at the moment and I'll be going back to Las Vegas next week, so I'm not inclined to go overboard on sale items.
While I was at the VA I stopped by the travel section to find out where my (almost) month old reimbursement was at, and was told that due to the shutdown and the holidays they were hideously behind. So I guess I'll stop checking PenFed until week after next, by which time I'll have two more reimbursements in the system: one for the podiatry appointment this week and one for the lab work I'm going to get done next week after the Oregon state tax exam. Which I will finally start preparing for today...
Feedly was working properly again today so I did a quick link dump for blogs like EBL and Legal Insurrection that I couldn't access yesterday.
It's a little warmer than it was Thursday, but I think I'll still wear the ushanka instead of the watch cap.
