I shouldn't have been surprised

Well, despite technically only working seven hours/day (plus an hour lunch break) I find myself spending about 10 hours/day in the tax mines, and what's left of my schedule is filling up rapidly. I find myself staying late most nights to do fulfillment returns, and am so tired when I get off work that I usually just grab something from Maverik and call it a night. Tonight it was a corn dog and a couple of cheddarwurst because I'd had all the burritos they had left for lunch or dinner over the last couple of days. Anyway, I'll have a lot of overtime on next week's paycheck, and despite all the big-dollar returns I've been doing, I don't think I'll be collecting a bonus this year. 

Most days, my blood sugar's been pretty good, because I've been avoiding the snacks in the back room in favor of the Atkins bars and generic keto fat bombs I bought at Walmart last week.

Haven't had time to play any games and have posted notice that I'm hanging up my keyboard until at least the 19th. I might be able to find the time to come up with a keepers list for Pete by the 19th, but I kinda doubt it.
